Show Ssa&East Miss Mar jo rie Hall of Salt Lake City was named president-elect of the Salt Lake County Association of Medica) Assistants in the annual election completed by mail Wednesday, according to Mrs. Bette Maack, chairman. Mrs. Erma VanderLinden will take over as president, succeeding Mrs. Joe Stock. Miss Ball will become president in 1961, after service for one, year in the president-elect position to become acquainted with the duties of the president. Other officers elected were Mrs. Wilma J. Horby, vice president; pre-sident; Mrs. Helen Kemp, secretary; Mrs. Irene Hofhine, treasurer; and Mrs. Melva Wall ' and Mrs. Florence .Wright,, members of the executive committee. ' The Medical Assistants Association, As-sociation, only a year old, now has about one hundred members in Salt Lake County. The association is made up of anyone who assists in the medical profession, such as nurses, medical assistants, receptionists re-ceptionists and allied capacities. Y-Wives, young matrons, and Tri-L's entrained for Estes Park, Colorado, Sunday, June 19th. They will attend the young adults YWCA Conference to be held this week at the Y Camp high in the Rockies. , Mrs. LeRoy W. Messinger and daughter Rachel, 3479 Crestwood Drive, returned from a trip to Long Beach and Ridgecrest, California on June 14th. At Ridgecrest Ridge-crest they visited Charles Messinger and family. We k-end guest at the Messingers was Miss Gretchen Braun of Toledo, Ohio. Miss Mary Notestine will have as her guest Miss . Sri Widiati Saebaii of Indonesia Monday, June 27th. Miss Saebaii is one of the foreign students traveling with the American Field Service groups There are 185 students five bus .loads. A full schedule, has been planned for the group until they leave Wednesday morning. On Tuesday night a dance will be held at the Prudential Federal Building. There will be no Sunday School ' or worship service next Sunday, June 26th, at the Holladay Community Com-munity Church. Instead out-door family worship services will be held at Boxelder Flats in Mill-Creek Mill-Creek Canyon at 10:00 a.m. in the ampitheater. Services will be followed by a picnic, each family to bring a basket lunch. Dessert and drinks will be sold. John C. Schreiner, 1283 East Sonth temple Street.
