Dear Friends of South Cache: Hearing of the flu raging again out in your country, I feel that its my duty to advise you as to the easiest method of combating it. In the Chiropractic world, flu is just a minor issue and it is very rare if ever that a death occurs if the patient is under the care of a Chiropractor. The only thing that is keeping you from getting this care, is a lack of investigation, pure prejudice or it may be too simple for the average mysterious thinking mind to grasp or understand. There is no class of people who grasp the truths of Chiropractic as do the missionaries of our church, which can be proven by the fact that the majority of those who are fortunate enough to labor here in Davenport (where they can visit the P. S. C. and. see what a wonderful work is being done), come back when they have completed their missions and take up the work because they have learned what a great blessing it is to be able to ' make people healthy and happy. What is there in all the world richer thangood health? You will all agree that there is nothing to equal it. Health is the richest thing inexistence and how many of you who are pool in this respect are getting any richer by taking poisonous drugs etc., into the body? Then why not investigate, if nothing else, and see or find out what Chiropratic is. Dr. V, E. Petersen is there with you now and Im sure he will treat ou right and explain to you any thing in regard to Chiropractic and its working principles you wish to know. Throw away that old foggy idea that a person dont know enough to take care of the sick because you have known him all his life. He has the goods to give to the public and such triffling things should never be considered when many of our noble citizens are in danger of loosing their lives. I will make a frank statement, that if any one dies in your community that has not consulted a Chiropractor, you can in no way say, all that could be done was done for the case. There is nothing that touches me as does the cry of the sick. I want to get to them and if I cant do it myself, I want them to get the right kind of assistance. I am for better health, which makes better and brighter people; better communities, better states and a better and more powerful nation. All this will happen when Chiropractic is a part of every home and not before. Dont let the wool be pulled over your eyes forever, think and reason out the little simple things of life first and the big things will become simple. I respect you and love to advise anyone as to the ways of health and happiness. If but one person is benefittei by my advice I will be satisfied, even though it is little. If you havent tried Chiropractic yet, now is the time while there is ao much sickness. I will not say anymore as I dont want to go into detail because you have a Chiropractor there, who Im sure will explain any and everything you care to know about the science and what it will do for diseased or unhealthy people.
