Fairgrounds in Contestants will be judged on horsemanship abilities, personality, knowledge, interview and a speech. Seven young women will vie for three title spots on Saturday. The public is invited to attend, with the speech and interviews beginning at 10 a.m., followed by the horsemanship competition at 11 a.m. Events take place at the San Juan County Fairgrounds in Monticello. Tiesha Shumway is 14 years old and lives in Blanding, where she attends Albert R. GAD NESS T TRUCKING and TRAVEL' Lyman Middle School. She is the daughter of Johnny and Michelle Shumway. Karah Shumway is 14 years old and lives in Blanding, where she attends Albert R. Lyman Middle School. She is the daughter of Kendall and Shawna Shumway.
