POCATELLO, Idaho, Oct 17, On of the- - most important matter of Special business transacted at the eighteenth annual meeting of the synod of Idaho, which closed its four days session at tV First Presbyterian church in Pocatello today, was the appointment of a committee, of which the Rev. Arthur O. Pearson of Twin Falls is chairman, to Investigate ,th purchase of Guyer hot springs, above Ketchum, for the making of a permanent place of the Presbyterian church. The ministers from various parts of the state were taken this afternoon on an automobile trip to Fort Hill to inspect the mission there. The following permanent committees of the synod were appointed: National missions, Arthur Q. Pearson of Twin Falls: foreign missions, H. N. Wagner of Twin Falla; Christian education, M. O. Montgomery of Parma; relief and eustentation, J. I. Gulfck of Idaho Fail, program and field activltlea, G. W. Barnum of Pocatello; American Bible society, H. H.
