Show Parties Are Given Preceding ' Wedding MISS MABEL PARKER and Jay H. Stockman, who will he married j Thursday, were guests of honor j at a card party and late supper given by I Dr. and Mrs. D. D. Stockman at their home on Ninth avenue. The rooms were j decorated in sweet peas, nasturtiums and j other garden flowers. The guests included, besides the gueet of honor, Mrs. E. B. Stockman, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Keele. Mr. and- Mrs. i Herbert Moffat, Miss Marjorie Whiteley, ! Leslie Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ; Hlggs, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Waldo, Mr. : and Mrs. E. T. Smith. Miss Parker gave a trousseau tea at the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles H. Keele, on Thirteenth South street, Sunday Sun-day afternooji. Goldenglow in a crystal basket formed a bright centerpiece for the tea table. Four crystal candlesticks held yellow candles. A yellow color scheme was carried out in the refreshments, refresh-ments, s. Presiding at the tea table were Mrs. Thomas Hipgs and Mrs. Herbert Moffat. Miss Eisle Keele assisted in serving. The guests numbered forty. |
