Show KEMP-THOMAS WEDDING IS HELD AT LOGAN Special to The Tribune. LOGAN. Aug. 11. An unusuullv interesting inter-esting social affair occurred In this dly today. Tho charming young daughter of Rev. Martin . Thomas. Miss Elisabeth Altken Thomas, became the brldo of .losoph Kemp of Park City. Tho wedding was a public one. occurring at tho Methodist Meth-odist church, where a large eompanv of friends assembled lo witness the nuptials. Tho church and home decorations were yellow and white. Tho ceremonv was performed by Rev. N. E. Clenienson. At high noon the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, played by Mrs. Eugene Llnnnrlz. violinist, accompanied bv Mrs. P. O. Perkins of Salt Lake on the 'organ, announced the coming of tho bridal partv. The bridegroom and groom. Port llart-wcll llart-wcll of Park City, preceded by Mr. Clem-onson. Clem-onson. entered, passing up tho right aislo. and took places at tho front. Then the bride, on I he arm of Iicr father, preceded pre-ceded by 'Mrs. Vada Stonly of Logan, matron of honor: Miss Mae Hedges of Park City, maid of honor, and Miss Dorothy Dor-othy Prolseth of Salt Lake, bridesmaid, passed up the left aisle, taking places opposite, when the whole company, forming form-ing a line, stepped upon the platform, the clergyman facing tho bridal party. i Tho bride was attired In an elegant gown of white crepe dechlne, trimmed with duchesso luec over white taffeta silk, carrying n sheaf of white sweet pens tied with wlille ribbon. The bridesmaid wore corn colored silk mulle. the maid of honor corn colored silk organdie, and tho ma iron of honor cream voile. The ceremony, thai of the Methodist church, was Impressive and beautiful, at the conclusion of which Mr, nnd Mrs. Kemp withdrew to tho parsonage to ro-celvo ro-celvo congrat ulnt Ions of a host of friends and well wishers. Tho greetings and felicitations over, the company sat down to an elegant repast, and Die enjovment of soclnl amenities. Mr. nnd Mrs, Konip. accompanied bv Mr. Hart. well and Miss Hedges, left for Salt Lake, where they will speid a few days before taking up their 'abode at Park City, whero Mr. Kemp has u position posi-tion In connection with tho Daly West mil). |
