Show PETER J. MURPHY IS DEAD OF PARALYSIS Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, July 18. Peter James Murphy, Mur-phy, 45 years of age. Inspector of hotels and dining cars of the Oregon Short Line railroad, died at the Dee hospital at 5 o'clock this afternoon of paralysis after a long illness. Several weeks ago Mr. Murphy, who was probably one of the best-known dining din-ing car men in the we.st, was taken 111 while in Los Angeles, When he recovered he returned to Ogden and was seemingly much .improved until a few days ago, when he was again taken ill. Mr. Murphy was in the employ of the Oregon Short Line for the past twelve years. He was a member of the local lodge of Elks. He is survived by his mother, who resides in Ireland. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. |
