It was a representative gathering, about sixty of the most prominent business men of the city ' being present. Governor Thomas presided and the meeting got right down to business, dispensing with all unnecessary speech making. It was decided to ask Rex II. to appoint ap-point a grand keeper of the trident of Neptune. - Ou niotiou a committee w as appointed to see the chairmen of the executive committees of tho two political parties anil request them to urge all their respective, organizations and marching clubs to turn out in full force and welcome the kings, Uex I. and Rex II The committee consists of Colonel JVge, Lieut.
