Show Former Legislator Succumbs in Nevada Funeral services for former Democratic Utah State Legislator Legisla-tor Edward Hamilton Watson were conducted Thursday at 12 noon, 2350 E. 13th South. Mr. Watson, long active in the Utah Democratic Party, held public office for 14 years. He died Monday in an Elko, Nev., hospital of a lung ailment. At the time of his death Mr. Watson was en route home after visting a son in California. Mr. Watson served in the Utah House of Representatives in 1937 and 1938 and two terms in the Utah Senate, from 1939-41 and 1951-54. From 1941 to 1948 he was state engineer. For 20 years he worked as a geologist for the Utah Oil Co. |
