Show THREE MEN KILLED IN MINE DISASTER Runaway Coal Cars Strike Miners Leaving Their Work With Fatal Results. JOHNSTOWN, Pa., March 20The breaking of a coupling, followed by the runaway of a string of loaded coal cars In the Sunshine mine at South Fork, this county, yesterday afternoon caused the death of three men. the fatal Injury of one and more or less serious Injuries to nine others. DEAD. Anthony Border of South Fork. Joseph Strank. South Fork. Frank McCIain of Ehrenfeld. INJURED. Colbaugn of South Fork, arm, leg and collar bone broken: serious. William Parker. South Fork, crushed about head and body; will recover. A half dozf n others, whflse names could not be ascertained, were badly bruised. The accident occurred at the clone of the day's work as the men were Uaving the mine. The mine will be operated tomorrow to-morrow as usual |
