Show DEATH OF C W STIMPSON charles W stimpson president of the alta club and president of the stimpson equipment Coin company pany died at the residence 68 T street at 5 0 clock last monday morning he was taken suddenly ill late sunday night death was due to cerebral hemorrhage brought on by high blood pressure from which he had suffered for some time according to dr R S A allison attending physician mr stimpson was born in chicago III thirty seven years age he came to utah in 1910 and hiis for a while associated with the james A pollock brokerage firm about five years ago he organized the stimpson equipment company a firm specializing in mine and mill equipment and which has been prominent in pioneering devices such as the janney flotation and the mitchell vibrating systems mr stimpson was prominent in the business and club life of the community he was active in public af affairs fairi especially i civic betterment movements ard during the war took an effective part in the patriotic enterprises of the city he is survived by his widow and three children susan charles and betty marie his mother mrs mary stimpson also survives |
