Show V THE RALLY Turn Out and Make the Occasion a 5 5 V Big Success The campaign in Utah has been quiet but earnest and all interested in the polling of a full vote on Tuesday next have been zealously working to that end While the champions of the Peoples Peo-ples ticket have been holding rousing meetings and addressing enthusiastic assemblages in different parts of the Territory the voters themselves have not been dormant for they have begun to realize that their suffrage is worth something and they mean to make use of it They have silently and assiduously assidu-ously been engaged awakening a feeling that their ballots shall be cast and cast too for their choice They have begun to realize that though there is a certainty of the election of the Hon John T Caine their staying away from the polls is next to suicidal and the sooner they mend the better The meeting at the Theatre tomorrow tomor-row night should be I attended by those who are most interested inter-ested in being ably represented in Congress Con-gress in having their welfare and progress pro-gress looked after by an honest man in securing to themselves those rights wl i tlthc opposition would deprive them of and in having their claims as American citizens respected The speakers on the occasion will be the candidate for the Delegate ship Hon John T Caine Judge Dusen berry of Utah County Hon S R Thurman S A Kenner Esq Hon F S Richards Mayor James Sharp and probably others The registered voters of this city should turn out in force both at the rally tomorrow and at the polls and demonstrate by their action in giving to their selected Representative Representa-tive a full solid and overwhelming majority ma-jority The result outside cf the city will doubtless be gratifying J V V |
