Show Application for Patent. . Notice No. 1,390. United States Land Office. Salt Lake Citt, Utah, December 24, 1885. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT HENRY F. Samson, of Salt Lake City, Utah. ha. made application for a United States patent for the Lena mining jlaim, situate in West Mountain Moun-tain Mining District, Salt Lake county Utah Territory, consisting of 1,500 linear feet of the lode, and surface ground 194.85 feet wide ' being Lot No. 36 and described in the field" notes and plat of the official survey on file in this office, with magnetic variation at 17 degrees de-grees east, as follows : Commencing at post No. 1, a corner of the claim, from which U. S. Mineral Min-eral Monument No. 5 bears north 35 degrees 41 minutes west 1,171.6 feet distant, and runninr thence north 26 degrees east 725 feet to Post No 2; thence north 61 degrees east 775 feet to Post 0. 8: thence south 55 degrees east 2CO feet to Fost No. 4; thence south 51 degrees west 775 feet to Post No. 5: thence south 26 degrees west 725 feet to Post No. 6; thence north 55 degrees west i feet to Post No. 1, the place of beginning of exterior bounds, expressly excepting and excluding, ex-cluding, however, from the above described area so much thereof as is embraced and included in-cluded in the Jordan, Lot 64; Flagstaff. Lot 149-I 149-I Croesus, Lot 51; Horace Greelv, Lot 142; Last Chance. Lot 48; Last Chance, Lot 157: the area claimed being 5.19 acres. The said mining claim being of record in the office of the Recorder Re-corder of said mining district at Bingham, in Salt Lake county Utah. The nearest known locations being the Jordan, Lot 64; Flagstaff Lot 149; Croesus, Lot 51: Hooper, Lot 266; Horace Greely, Lot 142; Last Chance. Lot 4S; and Last Chance, Lot 17, claims in said mining district I direct that this notice be published in the Salt Lake Evening Democrat, the newspaper published nearest the said mining claim for th period of sixty days.
