Show The Olympic Club Ball. The grand opening ball of the popular Olympic Club takes place at their new hall in the Emporium Building tomorrow to-morrow evening. The famous Opera House band will discourse the enchanting en-chanting music, and Mr. James Cur-rie's Cur-rie's stentorian voice will for the first time re-echo throughout the elegant and spacious hall. Tickets have been placed at $2, for the ostensible reason of meeting several small obligations to be contracted at once in putting the hall in proper condition for the public. No one will object to paying $2 for a ticket under these circumstances. - It is the endeavor of the committees to make the ball a most enjoyable and memorable affair. |
