Show FACULTY FACTS FASCINATE FRESHMEN South high is pleased this year to welcome nine new faculty members. mem-bers. Do you want to know what the "perfect man about town" is wearing, wear-ing, doing, or thinking. Ask Mr. Williams, a new commercial teacher teach-er in 302. The only way to polish him is to polish his car. A sweet young thing, is this new Miss Barbara Biesinger, the girl's athletic director. Beautiful dancing danc-ing is her hobby. A teacher of long diversive training train-ing is Mr. Willardsen, who is now teaching his favorite subject, music. mu-sic. Rumor is that he is very well liked here, as are all the new-comers to our faculty. "Besides having the most beautiful beauti-ful and the best equipped library in the city, South high school has students with the best attitudes," so thinks Miss Edith Gates, director direc-tor of studies. "Living at home is much better than staying at the Ben Lomond Hotel," so reports Miss Mary Jane Hair, who is happy to be living- in Salt Lake after being debate coach at Weber high for one year. Another new teacher who is also interested in our speech department depart-ment is Miss Harvey. When she isn't cheerfully helping her students, stu-dents, golf and reading take up most of her time. English 5 students will be privileged privi-leged to have Miss Isabel Gagian, who lives in Murray, Utah. She is very fond of swimming and hiking. hik-ing.
