An Open House will be held Sunday, April 19, 1992 in the Center-fiel- d Ward Chapel from 3 to 5 p.m. lor all friends and relatives to join them in congratulations at this milestone in their lives. No gifts, please. Mr. and Mrs. Frandsen were married March 30, 1942, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Except for a brief time while Allen served in the Army , they have made their home in Gunnison Valley, living both in Clarion and Ccntcrficld. They have given of their lives in service to the valley through participation in various civic and religious organizations. Recently they served an LDS mission to the Philippines, and are currently workers in the Manli LDS Temple. They are parents of 8 children: Joan (Douglas) Gardner, Orem, Utah; Ronald (Shauna) Frandsen, SLC; Rita (Jerry) Gardner, Sacramento, CA; Russell (Christie) Frandsen, LaCa-nadCA; Mark and Myles Frandsen, twin sons deceased in infancy, Tracy (Pat) Frandsen, Spanish Fork, Utah; and Kelly (Kathy) Frandsen, Ccntcrficld, Utah. They have 35 grandchildren. a, ( Happy First Birthday J). Carol Ann "Annie" Veater was named Young Careerist of the Year by the Richfield Business and Professional Women, recently, and went on to competition for the regional title, in Cedar City. She won honors there, and she will now go on to repsent the Southern District of Business Professional Women at the State Convention in Park City, June 12, 13,adn 14. This is the second consecutive year that Richfields Young Careerist has gone to state. Annie is a graduate of Southern Utah University, and is the daughter of Dick and Madolyn Bills, of Salina. She is the wife of Fred Veater, of Aurora, and teaches at South Sevier Middle School. Annie attended North Sevier High School and has been active in LDS Primary, Relief Society, Salina Riding Club, Salina Roping Club, CRC Rodeo Association, SCC Barrel Racing Association, and Sevier High School Rodeo Advisor, Sevier High School Rodeo Queen Contest She loves to write Cow- n. "My future goals arc to grow both personally and professionally by raising my family, furthering my education, receiving a Masters Degree, and staying active in the community. Beck, of Centerfield, have agreed to a $2,400 civil penalty and a cease and desist order from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Under the terms of the consent order, the firm and Beck agreed to cease and desist issuing insufficient funds checks and failing to pay the full purchase price of livestock.
