Tish Millard moved from Salt Lake City to Richfield to take a position with New Horizons as Clinical Coordinator. She has a Bachelors degree in Social Work, plus training in many areas that will be helpful to the Center. The Center still has a wish list. Anyone is asked to wishing to volunteer, call us at New Horizons Center. 4, Celebrate the Girl Scouts 80th Birtthday this year by ordering a box or two of their famous Girl Scout Cookies. This year the Girl Scouts are doing more than selling cookies. They are celebrating the 80th birthday of their organization by taking part in a national service project, "Girl Scouts Care for the Earth. With every order of Girl Scout Cookies, Utah Girl Scouts will be handing out a valuable flier containing tips. Brownie, Junior, Cadette and Senior Scouts will help with the cookie sale and environmental service project, learning responsiblity, sales techniques, money management, and community pride. A portion of cookie sale proceeds directly supports local Girl Scout troops in a variety of activities and council programs. For each box of cookies sold, individual Girl Scouts receive credits which can be used to earth-friend- ly Classes Cake Decorating & Ham Radio set Now is the time to register in Sevier County for Classes in cake decoration and ham radio operation are being offered by the adult education program of Sevier Melanie Partridge Enrollment Sevier County Week is February 24 28. Advisory Council and Teen Council members encourage county youth to get involved and enjoy participation. A poster contest is being sponsored as part of Enrollment Week. Prizes will be awarded for outstanding posters, and selected posters will be put on drplay. The contest is open to4-- clubs, individual members, and other youth in School District, according to Director Randy Brown, and signups are now being accepted. Ham radio operation, a challenging class taught by Kirk Rasmussen, is for those 16 and over. At least 10 people are needed to start the class, wh ich will be held on Tuesdays for eight to 10 weeks. Upon completion of the course, students will be licensed ham radio operators. Cake decoration, a just for fun class, has a few signups but needs more before it can be organized and started. Diana and Olger were sealed for eternity on January 24, 1992 in the Toronto Temple, Canada. Diana is a graduate of North Chalet Cremes, Golden Nut Clusters, Thin Mint and Trefoil. The Girls will be taking orders from February 20 through March 5, 1992. Cookies are $2.50 per box and orders will be delivered April 4 through April 22. Probert will be involved in overseeing programs conducted with beef checkoff dollars which inform producers and imports about Beef Board activities, checkoff program and program results. The program also assesses producer attitudes and needs regarding the checkoff program.
