Show Manti Temple Visitor Center sets hours The Manti Temple Visitor a longer period of time each day, according to Elder Ross Findlay, who directs the Center. Hours arc now from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Visitors Center is staffed by local missionaries, serving from 5 stakes in the Manti Utah Region, and is supported financially by those five slakes. New windows, a new door, and new carpeting were added during the fall and winter, which made it possible for the Center to remain open all winter and be comfortable even on the coldest days. Center is now open for Recent library additions at the Center, approved by the Missionary of the LDS Department Church.include Video Cassettes, Our Heavenly Fathers Plan, and In His Holy House; and Before Columbus. Rooster Valley Classic has 1 7 teams; 400 players The first ever spring leg of the defeated St. George Muffler for the Rooster Valley Super Softball Classic saw 17 teams from all over the state, and more than 400 players involved in the exciting action. The tournament was divided into two sections. Placings in the Class C division were St. George Muffler, COUntry Stones of Richfield and Coors Light of Richfield. Class D: The Dogs of Sat Lake City, Zions Bank, Manti, and Peterson Oil, Richfield. In the trophy round the Dogs championship. Most valuable player was Steve Allen from the Dogs, with Denn Winningham, of St. George Muffler, winning the Golden Glover award. Trophies were provided by Sportskeeper. Tournament director Rick McEwen said it was a great tournament and many needed to be thanks for their efforts in making the tournament a success. The Richins have another daughter, Jessica, and she thinks all babies come in twos. Grandparents are Jerry and Mary Bradley of Manti, they now have 16 grandchildren; and Harold and Darlene Richins of Henefer. Great grandparents are Merritt and Jessie Bradley, Ephraim, and Otto and Lillian Lambcrtsen, Centerfield. A lovely baby daughter has joined the home of Eddy and Kathy (Reid) Bradley, of South Jordan, Utah. She was born March 25, 1988, at Cottonwood Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds 8 pounds. Snow's President receives Veterans will now provide award for programs inscriptions on markers An economic development award was presented to President Steve Bennion, of Snow College at the May board meeting of Utah Small Cities, held at the State Capitol. Bennion received the award for his continued effort in developing the Incubator for Business at Snow College. Snow College has taken the lead in starting and promoting a successful incubator program, said Ed Meyer, director of the states Rural Marketing Office. Programs such as Snows offer small rural community a realistic option for economic development other than the highly competitive field of smoke stack chasing. Incubator programs arc designed to help companies get a head start by providing inexpensive space and individual counseling on all facets of business from accounting systems to business plans.
