Show 12 The Salma Sun Thursday, February 10, 1983 The Salma Sun Leslie Flora to Wed Yorba Linda Man Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Flora are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lezlie, to Rick E. McClure, son of Mr. and Mrs. W alt McClure of Yorba Linda, Calif. Miss Flora graduated from North Sevier High School as an honor student, and LDS Seminary in 1981. She was active in music, was a cheerleader for two years, and served as yearbook assistant editor and editor. She attended BYU on a deans scholarship where she was selected to be a member on the International Folk Dance Team. Since then she has worked in New York and California. She plans to attend the American Institute of Medical-DentTechnology to be a medical assistant. Rick graduated from Troy High School as an honor student in 1981. He was active in football, baseball, wrestling and was a professional motorcross racer. He served as LDS Seminary President and Troy High School He attended BYU on a four year trustees scholarship, where he was on the ASBYU Leadership Council and was of the Executive Tribe of Many Feathers. Rick served in the Washington Spokane Spanish Mission. He is currently employed by the state of California as a specialist for the Unemployment Development Department. He plans to finish his education at BYU majoring in microbiology in the field of podiatric surgery (sports medicine). Rick and Lezlie plan to be mar- - ried March 5th in the Jordan River IDS Temple. They will make their home in Provo. Natalie Peterson, Christian Forsyth to Marry in Temple Mr. and Mrs. Dallis James Peter son, Annabella, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Natalie, to Mr. Christian Ward Forsyth, son of Bishop and Mrs. Ward R. Forsyth, Aurora. The marriage will be solemnized His farewell speech will be given Sunday, Feb. 13 at the Salina First Ward at 9 a.m. Guests of Elder Jacobsen will be his mother and father, Mr. arid Mrs. Jerald Jacobsen, Phoenix. in the St. George LDS Temple on Thursday, February 17. A reception will be held in their honor the following evening February 18 in the Annabella Ward Chapel. Their director, Mrs. Lynn Poulson joined them as the woodwind director for the symphony. This was of several appearances for the group.
