I consider my time and effort spent in this work, as an investment an investment in many new friendships, a better understanding of the town and its people, their activities and their hopes, ,and a deeper appreciation of such a fine community. Our lives were entwined jWith the lives of many of the wonderful people in Rov, and were made richer for the experience. Indeed. I have been rewarded. May I say Thanks" to Jvne and Allen Browning who gave me the opportunity to serve the people of Roy in the capacity of reporter I enjoyed it immensely. And may I thank the Brownings for the very fine work and untiring effort they have given to the birth and growth of this paper. You have to actually see the process and be a part of the production of a newspaper to fully appreciate the finished product. I worked with them one night to the wee hours of the morning trying to meet the mailing deadline, and I learned to love and appreciate them, and to admire them for their courage, their vision, their community spirit, and their desire to give this community something which they felt it needed a newspaper! I want to thank all of the fine people who cooperated with me I "NU-TON- W. ill, NEXT TO POST OFFICE NEAR ARSENAL . 359 SO.
