Show r.lyton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish The Myton local of the Farmers Farm-ers Union recently held a meeting meet-ing at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Monks. The principal project before the Union Un-ion was a movement to procure a telephone system for rural homes. Floyd Ross made a trip to Salt Lake City last week in the interests of the project. The next meeting will be held Dec. 14, at the Vern Edwards home. Miss Lavora Murray, a member mem-ber of the Nephi school faculty, came home to spend the Thanksgiving Thanks-giving holidays with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray. Mur-ray. Other Thanksgiving guests at the Murray home were Mr. and Mrs. James B. Murray and son and daughter, of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Maxfiejd and family, Mr. and Mrs, Claud Murray and son, of Altonah; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Murray and family, fam-ily, of Vernal; Mrs. Veron'8 Winkler, of Bluebell, and Mr. and Mrs. Niel Murray, of Myton, Mrs. Ole Peterson and son, Franklyn, left Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving in ProvQ with Mrs. Peterson's sons and daughters. Thel visited in Salt Lake City before returning Sunday. Sun-day. Louis Uresk, a student at U.S.A.C., spent the Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing holidays with his parents, Mr and Mrs. Mattv Uresk, Sr. Miss Nina Babcock returned from Logart, where she is a student at U.S.A.C., to enjoy Thanksgiving vacation with her parents, Mr, and Mrs, Lionel Babcock. Miss Nancy Todd returned last week from n month's visit in California. She was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hoff, of North Hollywood. While in California Cal-ifornia she visited Mr. and Mrs. George Moeller, at Altadena, and with Mr. and Mrs. Alan Sims, in Sacramento. Mr. and Mrs. Cleone gproul and Max Robinson came frem Salt Lake City to spend Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer ftsbinson. They returned to Salt Lake eity, Saturday, Sat-urday, accompanied by Mrs. Robinson, who will visit there for a short time. Miss Alice Todd and A. M-Todd M-Todd were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. end Mrs. Fred Todd. Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Davenport were Fritz Schleinitz, John Cronk and Wm. Jennings and son, John. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, were Thanksgiving din-ner din-ner guests at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Miss Newell recently served in the mission field with a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elder, Roland Jirebs, Jr., came from Salt Lake City to spend Thanksgiving Thanks-giving at the hpme of his wife's parents, Mr- and Mrs. H. L. Crapo. Mrs- Krebs and daughter have been visiting here for the past twp weeks. Mrs. James Bywater and daughter, LaRee, were Thanksgiving Thanks-giving guests pf Mrs. Bywater's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Zack Kump, at Lappint. Charles Meranda spent the weekend at his ranch hpme west of town. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Cedarquist, pf Twin Falls, Ida., arrived Saturday Sat-urday to attend to business matters mat-ters here. Mr. Cedarquist is owner of the Globe Seed and Feed company plant in Myton. While here they are guests at the A, M- Todd home. Mrs. Arleigh Hall, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Andrew Tolboe, since the recent re-cent death of her father, left Monday for her home in Ingle-wood, Ingle-wood, Calif. Mrs. George Funk spent the weekend at Mt. Pleasant with her son and daughter, students at Wasatch Academy. She accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin, of Whiterocks, who have two daughters attending the Academy. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Cedarquist were dinner guests at the Wilmer Wil-mer Murray home, Monday. Bishpp Syerl Dennis brought his wife and infant daughter from the Roosevelt hospital last week. This is the first daughter in the family. Mrs. H. L. Crapo and baby daughter returned from the Rposevelt hospital last week. Susan Crapo, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crapo, who underwent under-went an appendectomy recently was also able to return home for Thanksgiving, Calvin Monks, receiving medical med-ical attention at Provo, was able to come home for Thanksgiving. He returned to Provo, Friday. Mrs. Charles Martin was honored hon-ored at a birthday anniversary party, Tuesday evening, when " Mr. and Mrs. Don Giles and family, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Giles and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles gathered to extend greetings. |
