Show ENGAGEMENT MADE KNOWN Mr. and Mrs. Reed McConklc, of Tridell, this week made known the engagement if their daughter, Jennis. to Grant C. Betts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ern-est Betts, of Roosevelt. Both young people are senior students this year at Alterra high school Plans are being made for a June wedding. JUST-A-MERE Light refreshments were featured fea-tured when Mrs. Darrell Walker entertained eleven members of Just-A-Mcrc club at her home last week. Bridge formed the evening's diversion, with prizes going to Mrs. Clair Larsen, Mrs. Reva Owen. Mrs. EIRoy Wilkins and Mrs. Tom White. THOUGHT AND THIMBLE Mrs. Olen Perryman was hostess host-ess to six guests at her home the evening of March 28. A one-course one-course luncheon was featured. TUESDAY BRIDGE A salad course luncheon and bridge formed the evening's entertainment en-tertainment when Mrs. Sam Weiss entertained sixteen members mem-bers of Tuesday Bridge club at the Frontier Grill on March 29. B. P. W. Roosevelt Business- and Professional Pro-fessional Women met Wednesday evening, March 23, at the Frontier Fron-tier Grill for their regular monthly banquet and business meeting'. A spring decorative theme was followed with the the banquet table attractively centered with daffodils and Dutch iris. The debate team from the Roosevelt high school, comprised of Ronald Dye, Howard Galloway, Gallo-way, Rolen Campbell and Fern Rasmussen, presented an educational educa-tional feature dealing with the United Nations.
