Show Alterra Girl Wins ' FHA Presidency At State Convention Future Homemakers of 'America 'Amer-ica from the Roosevelt and Alterra Al-terra chapters attended the FHA state convention in Salt Lake, March 25-26, and witnessed the election of an Alterra member to the state presidency. Elected was Lela Moosman, vice-president of the Alterra chapter. Miss Moosman has been active ac-tive in FHA affairs during her high school career. Her election as state president of the organization organi-zation represents the last time the Uintah Basin will have a chance at the presidency for another an-other eight years. Under the FHA by-laws Utah is divided into 8 districts, with the top office going go-ing to a different district each year. Vee Rasmusserf, also from the Alterra chapter, served as vice-president vice-president of the state organization organiza-tion during the past year. Representing the Roosevelt chapter were Berniece Felter, who was elected as an alternate to the national convention. Glen-da Glen-da Rudy, Jean McClellan and Lu-Deen Lu-Deen Anderson. |
