Show New Bride Is Honored Aug. 18 The following program was gU ven at the shower of Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Keel on Aug. 18: Harmonica and Accordian duet, Mrs. Annie Davis. Solo, Mrs. Davis; Accordian Accor-dian solo, Sharen Keel; duet, Doris Allred and Laura Carroll, with Janis Allred accompanist; solo, Doris Allred and Violin solo, Helen Hel-en Palm with Bonnie Ann Ames accompanist. Bingo was played and refreshments were served by the hostess, Mrs. Louis Case and Mrs. Opal Keel. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Keel and Sharen of Neola; Mrs. Melvin Hackford. Fisher Reunion The Moroni Fisher family reunion re-union was held at Moon Lake Saturday and Sunday, August 18-19. 18-19. A lovely love-ly lunch was served to the quilt-ers. quilt-ers. Polio Case Reported Gwen Allred, 12, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack K. Allred of Altonah Al-tonah was taken to the Roosevelt hospital August 21 with Polio. Gwen received her first Polio shot about a month ago. Her many friends wish her a speedy recovery. recov-ery. Lose Ball Game The Altonah American Legion Junior Baseball, team played Helper Hel-per Saturday August 18 at Altamont. Alta-mont. Score was 11-9 in favor of Helper. There was a large number num-ber from here who attended the game. 4-H Club Meets The 4-H Club met at the home of Mrs. Nada Murray Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon, August 22: The meeting consisted of judging their sewing;. Points on good grooming; and things to improve their club.
