Show Leeton-Bennett Delma Long Mr. and Mrs. Acel Halsam, Provo, are the proud parents of a baby daughter, born Nov. 30. Acel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Haslam. Mrs. Willis Johnson, of Vernal, Ver-nal, spent Friday afternoon visiting vis-iting Mrs. Nellie Whitlock and Mrs. Audrey Taylor. A farewell party was held Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Seth Asey, who was presented with a towel from each member of the Relief Society. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hor-rocks, Hor-rocks, of Lapoint, visited Friday Fri-day with Bishop and Mrs. Otis Horrocks. Mrs. Gerald Bolton entertained entertain-ed Mr. and Mrs. Parry Bowan at dinner, Sunday, commemorating commemorat-ing Gerald's birthday. Mrs. Edith Allred, of Vernal, and son, Charles, of Glenwood Springs, Colo., visited Bishop and Mrs. Otis Horrocks, Monday Mon-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Taylor land daughter. Maxine, and Mrs, Nellie Whitlock attended a birthday dinner Monday evening eve-ning in Roosevelt, in honor of Stevie Allred's anniversary. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. Clarence Allred, Mrs. William Diamond is visiting vis-iting in Whiterocks with her daughter, Mrs. Clint Betts, and family. Wayne Haslam and Mr. Bris-man Bris-man made a business trip to Denver last "week. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslam and family and Mr. and Mrs. John Haslam and son, Myron, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Niles Haslam, of Vernal. The occasion celebrated celebrat-ed Nile Haslam's birthday. Mrs. William Diamond and Mrs. Clair Haslam visited Friday Fri-day in Mt. Emmons with Mrs. Elmira Snow. Mrs. Snow and Mrs. Diamond, who knew each other as girls in Fairview, had not seen each other in years. The Seth Asay family has moved to Lapoint, where Mr. Asay will run a garage. Miss Kay Robb, o f Farm Creek, was a Sunday visitor at the Calvin Rasumssen home. Mrs. W. Long and children transacted business Saturday in Vernal. Garr and Byron Bolton were Vernal business visitors, Saturday. |
