Remember 4th of July in the good old days? Wild circles of silver sparklers whirling in the air . . . standing in rows on the lawn . . . arcing up in the sky. And then darkness, lit only by far off sprays of someone else's sky rocket. You sat on the front steps eating ice cream and smelled the lovely odor of shot-o- ff firecrackers and burnt out fireworks.
