Show FORMER RANDOLPH CITIZEN I 1 UL 1 lujbli PASSES r 1 PASSES A choro john rich south 78 ogden died thursday in the home of his daughter mrs lillie cornia at woodruff of a heart ailment he was born june 7 IBM 1866 in salt Lake City a son of charles and elizabeth rich south the family moved to randolph when he was a small boy where he attended the town schools on oct 10 1891 he married mary elizabeth piggott from 1900 to 1902 he served an mission in tennessee during his residence in rich county he served as rich county clerk and sheriff in 1909 family moved to trenton where they engaged in farming and real estate in 1919 he moved to logan and worked as a carpenter until 1933 1933 when they moved to ogden in january 1936 mrs mary south died and in nov 1936 he married mrs doia weaver cunningham who died in nov 1912 leigh sons and daughters survive mrs irs mayme cornia and mrs lillie cornia comia woodruff J T south worland wyo mrs olive thompson arid ani george D south salt lake mrs jennie black ogden theodore south providence h and mrs velma davis logan a sister mrs airs kate kale hatch ogden and 2 brothers edward and sam south idaho falls idaho also 26 grandchildren funeral services were held at woodruff as follows song through dee deepening p ening trials by the choir prayer by will south speaker rob marshall of candolph solo no night anere by mrs lou hopkns hopkins sl speaker eaker albert weaver solo silver dilver haired daddy of mine hannah cox obituary by william eastman some time well understand by the choir clos closing ing prayed prayer by izaal andrews he was bras taken to randolph for burial and the grave was dedicated by edward south afie T flor floral al acre v era very b beautiful eau and all ail his hta children were in attendance and many relatives and friends from far and near we extend our sympathies to the bereaved and may we follow the good aings of his hid life to make us better |
