J) EVANSTON WY 82930 Or Contact Your Local News Reporter Enrichment Program Held At South Rich Ruth Smith DAILY TEMPERATURES by The first seven week period in the enrichment program held at South Rich Elementary came to a close last Thursday, January 19, as those participating in the drama workshop put on a one-hoperformance. The performance was directed by VaLayne Hadley assisted ur Ward. The cast demonstrated character dramatizations and a readers theatre. Two short plays were performed by the cast which included Rachel Parker, Angie Weston, April Castle, Paul Elsen, Sandy Limb, and Sandra Putnam, Rachel Parker wrote the play entitled Crazy Capers, winning g contest held as part the of the drama workshop. The instructors of the workshops were South Rich Elementary teachers and community volunteers. In the enrichment program the to students, from grades four six can attend a workshop of their choice for a seven week period. The workshops are held Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Those workshops offered during the first section were; quilting, cooking, crocheting, computers, ceramics, child care, first aid, photography, dance, woodworking, coin and stamp collecting, and drama. Workshops to be offeres in the next section of the enrichment program are art, cake decorating, wrestling, literature, small engine repair, computers, drama, ceramics, quilting, child care, woodworking, and photography. by Calvin play-writin- Garden Gty Offer ends February 29. 1984 M Missing.
