Show The Rich County News, February 3, 1984, Page 10 Little League Reaches Mid Season by Larry Johnson Reed Grolls Trojans have taken n lead in the College Division of the South Rich Basketball Little League as they moved their record to 3 to 0 with a Saturday victory over the winless Aggies. Leading the Trojans to their 23 to 11 victory was Justin Groll with eight, Jeff Wilson with six, and Garrett Limb with four. In the second game of the day, Rod Cornias Cougars laid claim to second place with a 16 to 11 victory over the Wildcats, moving their record to two and one. Leading the Cougars with an outstanding display of shootilng was Cody Mortensen, who scored 14 points. The Cougars lone other points came from Jake Hopkin, who scored a basket in the closing moments of the game. Leading the Wildcats with four points was Jereamy Argyle. the mid-seaso- In the Pro Division, Larry Kennedys Sixers moved into a first place tie with a thrilling 31 to 28 victory over Steve Kenneys winless Sonics. Leading the Sixers in scoring was Todd Limb with nine, Jadene Rex with eight, and Monty Weston and Gerry Rosendahl with six each.
