Customarily, only one student is selected from the graduate division divi-sion for term honors, but Jack Gibb, Portland, Ore., Howard Peterson Pet-erson and Wilmer L. Tanner. Provo, tied in highest scholarship Among the 19 students who received re-ceived recognition on the roTT, there were representatives of 13 towns in 6 states, and Canada. P. of the Benjamin Stewart chapter held their meeting meet-ing Thursday at the home of Mrs. Mazie Ludlow. Captain Margaret Hansen in charge. Mrs. Frances Hansen gave the lesson on pioneer pio-neer missionaries to the Indians. Jimmie Ludlow played a trumpet solo. A solo was sung by Mrs. Mae Hiatt, a trio by the Misses Emma Jean, Myrl and Donna Hone, accompanied by their mother moth-er Mrs. Mary Hone; a talk on history was given by Mrs. Mazie Ludlow. Hostesses were Mrs. Sadie Hand, Mrs. Mary Hone and Mrs. Mazie Ludlow. Mrs. Lucile Huff entertained her bridge club on Friday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Lulu Miller won the club prize and Mrs. Hazel Anderson Ander-son the guest prize. Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Walters from Ely, Nevada, are visiting here with relatives and friends. Mrs. Walters was formerly Miss Sadie Coleman. Mrs. L. J. Hansen spent most of last week in Provo with 'her daughter Mrs. Leona Prince who was ill. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Losser have moved to Payson. Mr. Losser will be employed at the Arrowhead Arrow-head resort again this summer. Mrs. Delia Tippetts entertained entertain-ed the El Cautro club on Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mrs. Melba Hone won the club prize and Mrs. Faye Stewart the guest prize. A farewell party was given here on Friday night for Clarence Clar-ence Beckstrom, who leaves soon for the Swedish mission. '2-Hy a) 200 Club Women Visit Galleries SPRING VILLE More than 200 members of Federated Women's clubs in District One, comprising Uta"n and Juab counties, were Kuest of Springville Federated Womens clubs at a silver tea at the art gallery Friday afternoon. A program under direction of Mrs. W. W. Brockbank featured the occasion with Professor B. F. l.arsen of B. Y. U. as the principal guest speaker. He told of the cultural influence of art on young people, school and city. Mrs. Hannah Packard of Provo. entertained the group with vocal selections: Miss Hazel Anderson, Miss Phylis Smart and Miss Carrol Car-rol Condie gave instrumental music, mu-sic, and a girl's trio from the high school, under direction of Supervisor Wallace Martin, gave selections. Following the program, the vis- I itors were conducted through the j t art gallery and the pictures in the exhibit were discussed by J.
