The amount of revenue to be raised from the taxpayers of the city will be somewhat smaller than last year, although over $100,-00- 0 will be collected this year' frym ' S assessments. "of of tax levies the Comparison 1922 and 1923 shows that reductions have been made in the following levies: Water service, .50 mill; streets and sidewalks, 1.00 mill; sewers and drains, .10 mill; bath houses, .10 mill, and special improvement And guarantee fund, .20 mill. The only increase in the 1923 levy is in that to be obtained for the erection of a city hall. The increase is .30 mill over last year, levy of 1.00 mill on the dollar is added this year to create a sinking fund to, pay of bonds and bonded indebtedness.
