Show SUMMONS-IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF the First Judicial District of theTerritorv of Utah. Utah county. Elizabeth Blood, plaintiff, vs. Orson Blood, defendant. The people of the Territory of Utah send greeting to Orson Blood, defendant You are hereby required to appear in an action brought against you by the above named plaintilf, in the District Court of the First Judicial District of the Territory of Utah, and to answer the complaint filed therein, there-in, within ten days, (exclusive of the day of service) after the service on you of this summonsif sum-monsif served within this county; or, if served out of this county, but in this district,, within twenty days; otnerwise withiu forty days or judgment by default will be taken against you, according to the prayer of this complaint. The said acton is brought to obtain a decree ol this court dissolving the bunut f matrimony matri-mony existing between plaintii- una defendant; defend-ant; that plaintiff be restored to u the rights aiid privileges of an unicarried person; tuat plaintitt be awarded Uie custody of her minor child. Robert Blood ; and that plaintiff bo allowed al-lowed to resume her maiden name of Elizabeth Eliza-beth Laird, and for costs of suit herein am for general relief . Plaintilf alleges that she was mar tied to the delendant in the citv of Provo, county of Utah and territory of Utah, on May 10, lti)i; that her maiden name was Elizabeth Laird; .that as an issue of said marriage mar-riage a son wa? hor:n to plaintiff and defendant, defend-ant, to wit: Robert jblood now one year old; that ever since said m Arriuge plaintiff has oeen a loving, """Tun ittrft''";TJ-TTTfT" out that in jJiw.H-tiirrrSiiy, 1H93, defendant deserted plaintitt and has ever since said date absented himself lroin plaintiff; that ever since said July 1893 and during tne time between said marriage and said July 189, defendant has wholly failed to contribute to the support or maintenance of plaintiff and ever since the date last aforesaid, plaintiff has been compelled com-pelled to rely jolwly upon her own exertions for a support and liviuood. For f uUer and further particulars reference is hereby made to the plaintiff's complaint now on file herein, a copy of which is hereto attached. And you are hereby notified that if you fail to appear and auswer the said complaint as above required, the said plaintiff wiU apply to the court for the relief therein demanded, and costs ol suit.
