The hall was beautiful with a Christmas tree, bright with lights and tinsel, and other holiday mot if3, arid arlarge bowl of red sweet peas formed the centerpiece for the git "table. The small serving tables held bowls of Christmas candies. The following program was enjoyed: en-joyed: Two solos, Weston Brown; accompanied by Miss Linda Spack- man; two accordion selections. little Crant Hoover: two read ings, Miss Helen Demos; tap dance. Patsy Ellertson; dance, Patsy Ellertson and Clyde Viiv cent, accompanied by Miss Mary Gail Ellertson. V Fortunes were told and delicious refreshments served, after which the Lride opened her many lovely gilts. ' - Junior Girls Entertained Junior girls of the Bonneville ward M. I. A. enjoyed a delightful delight-ful party Wednesday evening- at the home of Mrs. J. C. Kindred. Games were played, followed by a delicious luncheon. Bridal Shower Ward Hall At AMERICAN FORK Miss Dorothy Dor-othy Greenwood, daughter . of Bishop and Mrs. T. A. Greenwood, whose marriage to Douglas Strong, son of Mrs. Birdie Strong of Alpine, takes , place next Monday, Mon-day, was the honor guest Wednesday Wed-nesday night at a bridal shower. The party was given by her mother, moth-er, and two sisters, Mrs. Dave Grant of Salt Lake, Miss Mildred Greenwood and Mrs. David Greenwood Green-wood a sister-in-law, of this city. It was held in the First ward Relief Re-lief society room with 90 in attendance. at-tendance. The guests were entertained enter-tained with musical numbers, readings, games and stunts. Miss Alice Clarke of Alpine was in charge of the refreshment room which was tastefully decorated in Christmas tree boughs, and motifs appropriate to the season. The room was centered with a table decorated with a centerpiece of sweetpeas and ferns in a crystal bowl, set upon a handsome lace cloth Tall pink tapers burned at each end of the table. Miss Qreen-wood Qreen-wood was presented, with many lovely gifts. The young couple will be married in the Salt Lake temple and will make their home in Logan Lo-gan where both will attend the U. S. A. C. Thursday Bridge Party Delightful Members of the Thursday Afternoon Aft-ernoon Bridge club were guests of Mrs. George Mecham at her home. , . The card game followed a tasty luncheon, and Mrs. Oscar Carlson won the high score prize. A. tree loaded down with bright tinsel ornaments and vari-colored lights was the center of attraction.
