Tomorrow, Coach Allreds basketball squad travels to Springville. Coach Henry's wrestling squad has demolished four region opponents (Dixie 56-- Springville 41-1- Cedar City 59-- and Provo 53-6- ) However, the Viking head man says that "Timpview should give us a real test." Joe Martinez, former Provo coach during the great P.G. - Provo rivialry of a few years back, is the Thunder-bir- d head man with Paul Gillespie, former Viking assistant, now helping Martinez. Varsity action at 7:30 will be preceeded at 6 p.m. by the J.V. Tomorrow's game at Springville shapes up as a very close contest. The "Devils" coach, Elliot Jordan, claims to have "the two best guards ever at Springville." Game times are Sophomores 3:30, J.V. 5:30 and Varsity 7:30 p.m. Girls Win, Lose, Play Timpview P.G.'s girls team traveled to Cyprus Tuesday and played two one point games. The J.V. edged the Pirates 28-2- 7 while the varsity rallied from a 19 point halftime deficit to tie the game with 56 seconds to play. Cyprus hung on to win 54-5- Rosemary Jacklin lead all scorers with 21 points. Timpview Tonight P.G. plays at Tim-pview late this after-noon and travels to Lehi Tuesday the 9th. Spirits Tops in Bantam I Basketball League Play Stoney Brooks and Craig Hilton led the Spirits to 26-2- 2 win ov er the Sonics in a battle of undefeated Bantam basketball teams Saturday. The Spirits now are in first place with a 4-- 0 record followed by the Bullets and Sonics at 3-- This Saturday the Bullets and Sonics play at 10:30 a.m. at the high school.
