Who's EatiiiK Hosiery? More hosiery is sold in food stores than in any other retail outlet. Pork May Be Short A 15" decrease in pork pro-duction this spring is forecast by the TJSDA. The cutback is due largely to high feed prices and other rising costs. Corn For All Annual corn production from Iowa, Illinois, and Nebraska is enough to feed the nation's population, yet it amounts to only 28" o of the U.S. annual grain crop. Weeds Take Toll A recent study in Arkansas showed that weeds are costing farmers in one county about S10 million a year, and this loss is just in the soybean crop. Driving Training Course for April at Utah Tech The April driver training course for adults who have never driven before or who do not now have a driver's license will begin Monday, April 7 at Utah Technical College at Provo. The course will begin and registration take place at 5:30 that evening in the driver training portion of the college, located just inside the west entrance to the south wing of the college. The classes will meet daily 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This will enable completion of class work by the end of the month. The course is open to anyone not enrolled in high school. Tuition is $40 for the course, which utilizes the latest and most thorough techniques of driver training, including simulated driving in the electronic-mechanic- "Drive-O-Trainer- s" at the college.
