''k i- ( ) Elder Spencer Reuben Goodman, son of John and Vicki Goodman of Pleasant Grove, has been called to serve in the Baltimore Maryland LDS Mission. He will speak in a sacrament sacra-ment service Sunday, Jan. 25 at 9 a.m. in the Grove Ward, 200 S. 400 East, Pleasant Grove. Elder Goodman will enter the Missionary Training Train-ing Center on Jan. 28. Elder Mitch C. Tuttle, son of David B. and Maureen Mau-reen Tuttle of Alpine, has recently returned from serving in the Connecticut Hartford LDS Mission. He will speak in a sacrament sacra-ment service Sunday, Jan. 25 at 9 a.m. in the Alpine 2nd Ward, 680 N. Eagle View Dr., Alpine marries Mr. and Mrs. John Heiner Hein-er of American Fork are pleased to announce the marriage of their son John Heiner to Melanie Rigby, daughter of Blair and Denise Rigby of Rexburg, Idaho. The couple exchanged vows in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Jan. 17. An open house will honor the newly-weds newly-weds Thursday, Jan. 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Northampton House, 198 W. 300 North, American Fork. John Heiner Melanie Rigby The bride is a graduate of Rexburg High School and is studying at BYU. The groom is attending BYU-Idaho BYU-Idaho and served an LDS mission to the Ukraine. The couple will make their first home in Rexburg, Idaho. PGM annonn Vikings of the Steiners celebrate 50th anniversary with open house The children of Dale and Patricia (Pat) Steiner are pleased to announce their parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Friends and family are invited to an open house in their honor on Saturday, Sat-urday, Jan. 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the 1st and 18th LDS ward church (enter south doors), 381 S. 300 East, American Fork. Please no gifts. Dale was born in American Ameri-can Fork and attended school there where he was active in sports. He went on a mission for the LDS church to Louisiana, Texas. Dale was drafted into the U.S. military, mil-itary, serving mostly in Ger many. When he retuned, he and Pat were engaged. Dale has been a cabinet and home builder for over 40 years, he retired in 1994 but still makes bird houses for his children and friends. Pat was born in Huntsville. She attended schools in Huntsville and at Weber High School in Ogden, after graduation she went to USU on a homemaking scholarship. She received her nursing degree in Provo and worked 40 years in that capacity. Pat retired in 1994. She loves music and sang in Chauntenettes and was a member of Intermetzo. Pat loves to write poetry, winning several awards. Pat loves to garden, has worked as a Pink lady and 4-H leader. She belongs to the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Dale and Pat have had many callings in the LDS Church, have served in the Provo LDS Temple, and served two missions together. Dale and Pat have had fun camping and traveling all over the world, but their best times have been traveling travel-ing with their children and grandchildren. The Steiners were married mar-ried in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Jan. 15, 1954.
