Grove Junior High Vikings honored By Linda Butler Seven outstanding students stu-dents were recognized by faculty at Pleasant Grove Jr. High as the December Vikings of the month. Faculty Fac-ulty members shared their remarks on each of these dedicated students. Erin Parry (Applied Technology) is reliable, punctual, and attends to every detail of an assignment assign-ment in this field where precision and correctness is vital. Erin likes to participate partici-pate and has such a great attitude. It is fun to be around her. Megen Gale (Math) is very conscientious about her work and asks questions until she understands under-stands a concept. When she has it, she willingly shares her knowledge with others. Katie Pitts (Fine Arts) is known for being delightfully delightful-ly creative, dependable and cheerful. She doesn't ever seem to have a bad day. H,. .. . s, H, I Juliette LeBlanc celebrates 90th birthday Five generations including includ-ing nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild all wish Juliette LeBlanc a happy 90th Birthday. Her personality has made her loved by all she meets. She was born in Fitch-burg, Fitch-burg, Mass. Dec. 29, 1913 and was one of 17 siblings. Dalin Hooley was absent. While playing a lead role in our play Cinderella, she managed to keep up in all her classes. She is looking at a great future. Whitney Myers (Foreign Language, Spanish) is always prepared and turns in assignments on time. She is focused and pays atten tion when instructions are given. She has ambition, is productive, and is a positive influence in class. Dalin Hooley (Physical Education) has been a great help to his PE teachers. He shows leadership abilities by his positive attitude, and the way he motivates and encourages others often helps with class discipline. Kayli Wakefield (Social Science) is a dedicated student stu-dent who performs above and beyond the normal level for this age. She is conscientious conscien-tious and diligent in her school work as well as being an outstanding citizen. Kim and Kaye Kindle-spire Kindle-spire of Pleasant Grove are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kristi Kindlespire to Mark E. Davis, son of Gayle and Lorraine Davis of Pleasant Grove. The couple will be married mar-ried Saturday, Jan. 3 in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple. The couple will : V their first home in(V0n Jacobs Senior Center to reopen Jan. 5 The Jacobs Center is open Monday through Friday, Fri-day, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. except holidays. The center will be closed for the New Year holiday until Jan. 5. Seniors can enjoy quilting, quilt-ing, exercising, and visiting at the center as well as play billiards and games, put together puzzles, and take occasional tours when available. Bingo is each Monday at 10:30 a.m. Ceramics classes are every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Quilting is done daily. Lunch is served each day at noon and menus are planned for the nutrition needs of the senior citizens. Reservations are needed one day in advance. Menus are listed here for convenience and may be clipped out and used for reference ref-erence during the month. There is a small fee charged for lunch. The Jacobs Senior Center receives some funding from the Mountainland Association Associa-tion of Governments.
