He was born Aug. 21, 1953 in Roosevelt, the son of Don J. and Connie Olsen Harvey. He married Cindy Lou Powell on March 25, 1976 in Pleasant Grove. He attended school in Lehi. She was born Oct. 10, 1905 in Bates, Idaho, to Stillman and Lucinda VanLeuvan Buxton. She married Alma Carlyle Reynolds June 2, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in March of 1979. She was a member of the LDS Church and was a teacher in the church auxiliaries. She worked in and owned the laundry and dry-cleaners dry-cleaners in Malad, Idaho from 1947 until retirement in 1962. She is survived by three sons and one daughter: Carlyle Reynolds, Seattle, Wash. ; Eldon Reynolds, Incom, Idaho; Don Reynolds, Vienna, Va.; Mrs. Robert (Ileen) Parker, Orem; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Howard (Wilda) Wallace, Orem; Mrs. Delbert (Vada) Green, AJta, Wyo.; and Mrs. L. Edwin (Winona) Hir-schi, Hir-schi, American Fork. She was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Reynolds. Friends may call at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove, on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, at 1 p.m. in the Malad City Cemetery. and Jennifer, all of American Fork; mother and father, L. Stanford Wootton Samuel Whitney Hilton, 91, Pleasant Grove, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1986, at the American Fork Hospital. He was born March 3, 1895 in Tropic, Utah, to Joseph and Ellen Mae Richards Hilton. He married Grace Richins in 1917. She died in 1924. He later married Lydia Allen Ekins, Jan. 5, 1926. She died Jan. 20, 1985. Mr. Hilton attended the University of Utah, was an Eagle Scout and received the Silver Beaver award. He was active in the LDS Church and served as a Seventy's president and High Priest group leader. He was an electrician and an engineer for the Utah Power and Light i v I :mm Company for 43 years and retired in 1963. He was a veteran of World War I and served in the field artillery on the Mexican border and in France. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Lions Club. He is survived by five sons and one daughter: Abel J. Ekins, Lehi; Joseph Donn Hilton, Las Vegas, Nev.; Allen Eugene Hilton, Sandy; Robert J. Hilton, Pleasant Grove; Floyd (Jim) Hilton, American Fork; Mrs. Leigh (Frances) Hanes, Fincastle, Va.; 28 grandchildren; 101 great grandchildren; one sister: Verda H. Walker, Washington Terrace. He was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Whitney Hilton II. Funeral services will be held thursday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove 7th Ward Chapel, 1270 E. 200 South, where friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m and also Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. L. Stanford Wootton, 82, died Friday, Sept. 19, 1986 in Santa Clara, Utah. He was born April 3, 1904 in American Fork, the son of John Heber and Ada Dilworth Wootton. He married Ida Marianne Cowie April 6, 1945 in Beaver. He was a graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in law. He was a retired appeals referee for the Utah State Department of Employment Security. He is survived by his wife of Santa Clara; five sons and four daughters: John S., Fallbrook, Calif.; Mrs. Steven (Lynne) Romney, Vernal; Randy, Las Vegas; Mrs. Marvin (Pamela) Newmann, Sandy; Tracy, Torrance, Calif. ; Jay, Pleasant Grove; Stan, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren. grand-children. Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at noon in the Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N.., American Fork. Friends may call at the mortuary two hours prior to services. Burial will be in the American Fork Cemetery. Olive Leany Nelson Card of Thanks Olive Stanworth Leany, 86, of Lehi, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 1986 at her home of natural causes. She was born May 30, 1901 in Hinckley, to Samuel N. and Ellen Isabel Elder Stanworth. She married George W. Leany May 17, 1919 in the St. George Temple of the LDS Church. He died Sept. 7, 1974. She graduated from the Millard Academy in Hinckley. She worked in retail stores for many years in both Lehi and River ton. She was a member of the LDS Church. She served as captain of the Snow Springs Camp of the DUP. Survivors include two sons and two daughters, George Cleon Leany and Mrs. Douglas (Evalo) Smith, both of Lehi; LaVerl B. Leany, Chico, Calif.; Mrs. Paul (Colleen) Brown, Taylorsville ; 12 grandchildren, 29 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Services were Tuesday Sept. 23 in Lehi 2nd-5th-9th Ward LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Lehi City Cemetery. The family of Derek and Carla Nelson wishes to take this opportunity to thank the many friends, neighbors neigh-bors and family members for all the expressions of sympathy sym-pathy and love shown us at the death of our beloved baby son, Wyatt Shane. We deeply appreciate the many kind acts and want to express our thanks to all those who called at the home and the mortuary, and for the lovely floral offerings of-ferings and the food prepared.
