Show Funeral Rites for Albert J. Nystrom Held Wednesday Funeral services in memory of Albert J. Nystrom, 73, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at the St. Marks Lutheran Church, Provo, under the direction direc-tion of Rev. Donald Kuhn. Mr. Nystrom died Feb. 11, in the American Fork Hospital, following a heart attack. Reverend Kuhn gave the principal prin-cipal address at the services, It was titled "Inheritance of the Saints of Light," taken from Col. 1, Verses 9 and 10. Rev. Kuhn also spoke the obituary, the prayer and the benediction, and gave a scriptural scrip-tural reading. Lilian Fenton and Arlene Worth favored with vocal duets "Nearer My God to Thee" and "The Lord Is My Shepherd." They were accompanied by Suz-ann Suz-ann Backman. Prelude and postlude music was played by Colleen Howe. Pallbearers were Erwin Freck, John Semmerling, Richard Rich-ard Valdez, George Heib, and Stanley and Leo Weber. Flowers were cared for and arranged by the Mary and Martha Mar-tha Guild. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Mr. Nystrom was born May 6, 1894, Sweden, a son of John and Marie Nystrom. He married mar-ried Katherine Johanne Weber Feb. 11, 1942, Dillon, Montana. He was a carpenter and worked work-ed for Geneva Steel. He was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, Provo. Survivors include his widow, a son and daughters, Albert E., Linda Nystrom, both Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Douglas (Elaine) Atwood, Sandy; Mrs. Craig (Elsie) Whaley, Torrance, California; Cali-fornia; three grandchildren a sister, Mrs. Viktor (Frieda) Nilsson, Sweden. |
