Show Garden Reception Honors Young Couple Recently On. of the very lovely affairs of the late summer, was the garden gar-den party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bamuel Robinson Friday Fri-day evening honoring the marriage mar-riage of their daughter Judy and Mr. Laird Johnson of Vernal. The charming young couple ex-changad ex-changad vows in a beautiful set-, ting, with Bishop Gerald Bellis-ton Bellis-ton officiating. The bride was singularly beautiful beau-tiful in a gown of cotton eyelet, fashioned with tiered skirt, sab-rina sab-rina neckline and short sleeves. Her veil of shcisr illusion fell from a crown of pearls. She held a dainty nosegay of baby pink roses. ros-es. Her attendants were maid of honor, her sister, Karen Robinson and bridesmaids, Maureen Johnson, John-son, sister of the groom and a cousin, Deianne Jongsma. They were attractively clad in pink and lavender and held small harmonizing harmon-izing nosegays. Best man at 'the affair was David West. Also in the receiving receiv-ing line assisting the young couple were their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Robinson ajid Mr. and Mrs. Verdin Johnson of Vernal. Also present were the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Robinson. Catering and caring for the lovely gift display wens aunts and other relatives. Cute little gift bearers were Shanna and Din.np A dam son The newlyweds are currently honeymooning in Las Vegas and on their return will establish a home in Logan where Mr. Johnson John-son will continue his studies at USU. The new Mrs. Johnson is a 1957 graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary and is ourrently employed by the Telephone Co. in Salt Lake City. Her benedict is a graduate of the Vernal High School. |
