ALAN EDWARD MULLER Garden Wedding Honors Pauline Ash and Alan Edward Muller Even the elements seemed to agree to make the reception honoring hon-oring Pauline Ash (and Alan Edward Ed-ward Muller one to be long remembered. re-membered. The garden at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Donna Ash, was itself a .thing of beauty. In the receiving line with the attractive young couple were their parents, Mrs. Donna Ash and Mr. and Mrs. Moritz Edward Muller; bride's attendants, Mrs. Owen Ash and Mrs. Hal Lewis, and the pretty little flower girl, Julie Ash, and Don Muller who assumed best man duties for his brother. Ushers were the bride's brothers, Owen and Gene Ash. The bride was singularly beautiful beau-tiful in white silk organza and lace, fashioned with full appli-qued appli-qued shirt, soalloped sleeves and sabrina neckline. Her sheer fingertip fin-gertip veil fell from a tiara ot lace and seed pearls. She carried car-ried a bridal bouquet featuring white gardenias. Her attendants wore deep rose satin and held pink and white roses. The bride's mother chose a pink gown and Mrs. Muller wore blue. Both pinned on corsages cor-sages of pink roses'. Greeting guests on their arrival were Mrs. Lacy White and Edith Taylor. Mrs. Keith Brown was at the guest book and A. C. Boulter ushered. Arranging the unusual gift display were Mrs. William Hunter, Mrs. Norman Stott, Mrs. Roy Ash, Mrs. Keyne Thorne, Miss Beverly Farr and Miss Violet Olpin. Young 'gift bearers were De-anne De-anne Hunter, Nina Jean Stott, Marcia Sundberg, Vickie Knight, Alta and Darline Olpin, Becky and Margaret Varney. Young ladies who served were Joye Beck, Nbla and Reta Ash and June Olpin. The all-over effect ef-fect of the well-planned lighting light-ing was planned by Sherman Varney and William Hunter, assisted as-sisted by Mrs. Jesse Thorne and Mis. S. C. Jackson who were responsible re-sponsible for the flower arrangements. arrange-ments. The young couple were married earlier in the day in the Manti LDS Temple with Temple President Presi-dent Bent Peterson officiating. Accompanying them and witnessing witness-ing the impressive ceremony were , the bride's mother, Mrs. Donna Ash, her aunts, Mrs. Lacy White, Mrs. Alonzo Hansen, Mrs. Valten Mortenson, Mrs. A. C. Boulter; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Olpin of Fillmore, Fill-more, Mrs. William Hunter, Mrs. Edith Taylor, Bayard Taylor, Don Muller, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Ash, Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Wadley. The bride is a former student of the BYU and spent the past year at the USU in Logan. She has' been active in student and LDS girls activities. Her benedict bene-dict is a former student at the University of Utah, has served a two year mission in the Eastern States LDS Mission and two years in the U.S. Navy. . They have established a home in Provo where both are attending attend-ing summer school at the BYU. |
