They enjoy eating lunch early so they can be with the first and second graders during their lunch recess. These younger students look forward to playing with the greeters and having the greeters help them find new friends. These greeters bundle up in the cold mornings to greet all the students, parents, and bus drivers as they come to Grovecrest. Be sure to return their greet ing. We have asked the students to take the wheels out them or fold the wheels in while at school. There are still many students who try to skate down the hails. We are concerned about their safety, as well as the safe ty of others. Also, these shoes make marks on the floors. We are now asking the students to take the wheels out and leave them at home. If we find the type that fold in not folded at all times, we will ask the student to wear a different pair of shoes to school. We appreciate your support in helping us enforce this rule. They are Gayle Wilkinson, Heidi Size-more, Size-more, Chanel Smith, Todd Thurgood, Kent Hexum and Tim Ehat. Their photo last week was actually the February Febru-ary Vikings of the month and was published with the January article. A parent paid tribute to their student and they received a CD case, a certificate and a pass to the P.G. Recreation Center. They are Randi Both, Jamie Norman, Megan Wilson, Wil-son, Adrian Adobato Adeba-to, Adeba-to, Ben Buckner and Kawai Goodman. Randi Both was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, she has lived in California and been in Utah for the past seven years. She has two older half brothers and two stepsisters. step-sisters. She just turned 16 and works for U.S. Surveys. Randi is passionate about music and always tries to make everyone feel good. She excels in interior decorating and lives with her parents Michelle and Chuck Amador. Jamie Norman was lorn in Roosevelt and is the first of four children. She could say her ABC's and count to 50 at 18 months of age. Jamie loves to read, ride horses and go four-wheeling. She works very diligently in her classes to receive high scores, to learn and retain information that will help her in further education. She is a very thoughtful person per-son and is kind and loving to everyone around her. Megan Wilson moved to Pleasant Grove when she was in the eighth grade. She has lived in Utah, Arizona, Ari-zona, and Idaho. Her parents par-ents are Keith and Dana Wilson and she has two sisters sis-ters and two brothers. She works as a nanny for Dr. Heidi Harris. Megan loves English and is good at math and science. Adrian Abebato was born in Argentina and attended elementary and high school in Buenos Aires.. He played soccer almost every day and li ft a lot of good friends in Argentina. His father had a stable economic position in Argentina but preferred a better lifestyle for his family. fami-ly. The family traveled to the Unites States and Canada in IPOS to decide where they wanted to live. Adrian arrived in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove last June and is a junior at Pleasant Grove High. Currently lie is trying to learn the English language lan-guage and he wants to get a job so he can save some money for next summer. Kawai Goodman is a hard worker and very dependable. He set a goal to buy a vehicle before he turned 1(, and last summer he worked full time on a grounds crew for the State ngtc Daniel Bates earns Eagle Scout award Daniel Keith Bates, son of Daryl and Janet Bates of Pleasant GroveCedar Hills, received his Eagle Scout award Jan. 8 in a Court of Honor. He is a member of Troop 1194, sponsored by the Cedar Hills 9th Ward. For his Eagle service project, he located and remapped all fire hydrants in Cedar Hills, updated the city map, cleaned and painted paint-ed 20 feet of curbing in front of each of 98 hydrants and cleaned and painted 98 hydrants. Daniel is in the ninth grade at Mountain Ridge Junior High School. He serves as Teachers T V . t 'Fashion Frenzy' fashion show for March 12 at PG High Scho Daniel Bates Quorum president in his Ward. He has served as senior patrol leader, chaplain and quartermaster in his troop. By Kalyn Secretan "Fashion Frenzy," will be the theme for the Pleasant Grove High School fashion show on March 12 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Try outs for the fashion show were held and the participants have been practicing for the past month. There will be 23 girls and 15 boys participating in the show. It is a high energy show and will feature formal for-mal wear, dressy, casual summer and fitness clothes. The evening dresses attire will be provided by Jane Walker of Walker Bridal. She ships bet-evening bet-evening dresses all over the country. The dresses been used in schools in California Cal-ifornia to allow young women to feel dressed for a prom without being bare. There will be about 35 evening dresses. It will be a fun evening with lights and music to go along with the show.
