Show Funeral Rites Set For Saturday For Elnora Nelson Elnora M. Nelson, 73, died at her home on Tuesday morning after af-ter a week's illness. She was born March 12, 1SS5, at Big Cottonwood, to Rasmus and Karen Marie Larson Nielson, when a child she moved with her family fam-ily to Vernal where she attended school and grew to young womanhood. woman-hood. In 1805 she moved to American Fork and on May 2, 1807 she married mar-ried Carl Nelson and with him established es-tablished a home here where she has resided since. Her husband died Jan. 21, 1937. Mrs. Nelson was a member of the LDS Church and was an active members of the Second Ward Relief Re-lief Society where she served as a visiting teacher. Her hobby was quilt making .and other sewing, and she did much service in helping help-ing care for the sick, and mothering mother-ing her many gTandchildren. Survivors include one son, Carl E. (Gene) Nelson, Provo; five daughters, Mrs. George (Marie) Johnson, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Dale (Elda) Hadfield, Lehi; Mrs. Charles (Afton) Furden of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Stanley (LaRue) Novak of New York; and Mrs. Roy (Ruby) Blake, Murray; 26 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren. greatgrand-children. Funeral services, directed by Bishop Keith Miller of the Second Ward will be conducted Saturday, in the Second-Fourth Ward Chapel Chap-el at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the Olpin-Sundberg Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary Friday evening even-ing 7-9 p.'m. and Saturday morning morn-ing until time of services. Burial will be made in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. |
