Show Funeral Rites for Pearl E. Deveraux Set for Friday Pearl Bertha Ellis Deveraux, 73, died Monday afternoon at her home, 356 East 1st North, in American Am-erican Fork, following a lingering linger-ing illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at noon in the Pleasant Grove Second-Fourth Ward under the direction of Bishop Donald Fox of the American Fork Fourth Ward. Mrs. Deveraux was bom May 28, 1887, in Pleasant Grove, a daughter of Alex G. and Maria Ellsmore Ellis. She married Roy Z. Deveraux June 12, 1913 in Provo. Mrs. Deveraux was a member of the LDS Church and for many years served as a Relief Society teacher. She is survived by her husband of American Fork, four sons, Ray Deveraux, Pleasant Grove; Myron Deveraux, Tarzana, Calif.; Ellis Deveraux, Ogden; Vern Deveraux Woodland Hills; Mrs. Lynn (Sylvia) (Syl-via) Robinson, American Fork. She is also survived by a grandson grand-son whom she raised, Harry Deveraux Dev-eraux of Cheyenne, Wyo. ; 17 other grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Belle Baxter, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary in Pleasant Grove, and Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. |
