Show Harley Corleissen Dies from Heart Attack Monday Harley J. Corleissen, former Pleasant Grove businessman and later chairman of the Utah State Road Commission, died unexpectedly unexpect-edly Monday night of a heart attack. at-tack. He had been in usual good health prior to the fatal attack. At the time of his death Mr. Corleissen Cor-leissen was at the family home 926 East Center, Provo. Mr. Corleissen has served twice on the State Road Commission, having been appointed by Governor Gov-ernor J. Bracken Lee and serving until January, 1954. He resigned to form a private construction company, but upon the insiistence of Governor Lee, he returned! to the commission in 1355 and later became its chairman. chair-man. He has been instrumental in many of Utah's recent highway and freeway developments. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice McCoard; a daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Alice Ann Jorgensen, living liv-ing with her husband in Germany, and a daughter, Christine Corleissen Corleis-sen of Provo, and the following brothers and sister: Clifford Hales and Don Hales of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Wilma Buckreis of Columbine Col-umbine Station, Ohio. Funeral services are being directed direc-ted by the Berg Mortuary, Provo. |
