Show Native of Pleasant Grove Dies in American Fork Mrs. Mary Sophia Weeks Crook-ston, Crook-ston, 82, of 431 E. Main, American Fork, died Friday evening, at her home of causes incident to age. She was born Jan. 15, 1876 in Pleasant Grove, a daughter of Ruben Rub-en S. and Mary L. Hurst Weeks. She married Robert H. Crookston, March 30, 1898, in Pleasant Grove. Their marriage was later solemnized solemn-ized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Sept. 7, 1943. Mrs. Crookston Crook-ston was a member of the .American .Amer-ican Fork First Ward.' Surviving are one son and two daughters, Robert W. Crookston, and Mrs. Venna Walter, American Ameri-can Fork and Mrs. W. E. (Ruby) Tompleton, Portland, Ore.; 11 grandchildren. 15 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Emma Over-lade, Over-lade, Pleasant Grove; three broth-ei-s, Frank Weeks, Burley, Ida.; Clarence Weeks. Clearfield, and Jesse Weeks, Oakland, Calif. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the American Fork First-Fifth LDS Ward Chapel. Chap-el. Burial was in the American Fork Cemetery. |
