Show Funeral Saturday In Second Ward For Roy Duke Funeral services for Roy Charles Char-les Duke will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Second ward L. D. S. chapel, directed by Bishop E. M. Williams. Mr. Duke died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pearce, early Thursday morning. morn-ing. He was born Dec. 17, 1904, at Vernal, Utah, and attended school there. His father, Roy Duke died years ago, and his mother married Wm. Pearce. For years Mr. Duke has been engaged in mechanical agricultural agricultur-al work at Vernal and in Idaho, until his recent illness, when he came to the home of his mother here. He was a member of the L. D. S. church. Survivors include his parents, and five sisters, Mrs Ray (Lucin-da) (Lucin-da) Olson of Copperton, Mrs. R. H. (VaLeda) Morn of Hannah; Mrs. J (Grace) Searle of Ogden; Mrs. LaVar (Mary) Hooley of Philadelphia; Mrs. Cliff (Ha) Goodrich of Vernal; also 4 step-siters step-siters and four stepbrothers. |
