Show Local People Attend Springville Funeral Local people attending the funeral fun-eral of Mrs. Lucille Pierce Maag at Springville Sunday afternoon included Mrs. Ed. Ball, Mrs. Ernest Ern-est Jense, Mr. and Mrs. Ferrin Goode, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pax-man, Pax-man, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Carter, Mrs. Floyd Lovell. Also joining the group here and attending the services -were Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Pierce of Murray, Leo Pierce and Selena Neyman of Stockton, Calif., and Howard Pierce of Concord, Calif. Mrs. Maag, 48, died Sunday morning in Payson hospital following foll-owing a major operation. She was born in Pleasant Grove, August 2, 1904, a daughter of Nathaniel and Florence Culmer Pierec. She received her education educa-tion in Pleasant Grove schools. She was married to Wesley C. Maag Oct. 7, 1921, in Vineyard, Utah County; later the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-day Saints. She moved with her family from Vineyard to Springville in 1936. She was active act-ive in the Primary Association, and Relief Society in Vinevard Ward and in Springville. Surviving are her husband, Springville, two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Frank L. (Lor-ene) (Lor-ene) Savage, Springville; Mrs. Howard (Rennn) Pace. American Fork; Wesley C. Maag Jr., Springville; Spring-ville; Conrad Maag, with the U. S. Navy, Alameda, Cal.; her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Florence Ball, Pleasant Grove; four brothers and three sisters; Roy Pierce, Salt Lake City Mrs. Ernest (Florence) Jense, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Ray (Selma) Neyman, Stockton, Cal.; Elmo Pierce, Murray, Leo Pierce, Stockton, Stock-ton, Cal.; Mrs. John (Fern) Ten-drak Ten-drak and Howard Pierce, both of Concord, Cal. |
