Show Mrs. Elizabeth Fan- spent Monday Mon-day here with her daughter, Mrs. Thelbert Atkinson and Mrs. Blaine Richards and their families. M-s. Boyd Anderson, Warren, Mrs. Ed Roberts, Miss Margene Gunderson and Miss Dorothy Sa-bin Sa-bin of Spanish Fork spent Sunday Sun-day in Oak City, where they attended at-tended the welcome home church services for Kenneth May, recently recent-ly released from the Hawaiian mission mis-sion field. Leaving here early, the local group attended Sunday school in Oak City, enjoyed a family fam-ily dinner in the afternoon and in the evening attended the welcoming wel-coming church services. Funeral Rites Held For B. E. Gardner Funeral services for Bernard E. Gardner were held at the Berg Mortuary on Saturday Dec. 6. Mr. Gardner is the father of Mrs. Dar-rell Dar-rell Yancey and Alton F. Gardner of Pleasant Grove. Mr. Gardner was born in Wan-ship, Wan-ship, Utah, Feb. 25, 1878, a son of Ira Walter and Alice Snow Gardner. He lived in Salem, Utah until a while before his marriage to Alice Mecham, April 2, 1902. - They had nine children, all of whom are living and attended the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mc-Cann, Mc-Cann, Mr. and Mrs. B, C. Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Thompson Thomp-son of Calif orniia; Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Farnsworth of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur M. Gardner and Mrs. Jack Wentz of Las Vegas, Nev.; Dr. and Mrs. Rees Anderson of Salt Lake City. . |
