Show Charles Carson Funeral Rites Will Be At Fairfield Funeral services for Charles Carson, life long' resident of Fairfield Fair-field will be conducted Saturday, March 25, at 2 p.m. in the Fairfield Fair-field ward chapel, directed by Bishop Bish-op Roland Hanson-Mr. Hanson-Mr. Carson died Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the home of his daughter daugh-ter Mrs. Floy Taylor in Fleasant Grove after a long illness. Mr. Carson was born Nov. 28, 1S77 at Fairfield, a son of John and Emma Partridge Carson. His entire life was spent in the Fairfield Fair-field area where he was engaged in farming and sheepraising. For the past two years until his illness he was employed at the Deseret Chemical Company. A member of the LDS church he was for twelve years presiding elder in Fairfield, and was at the time of his death, a high priest in his ward. On Nov. 20 1919, he married Leone Foutz in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She with the following children survive. Mrs. Diane (Grace) Shepherd, of Alpine; Mrs. Floy (Lola) Taylor, of Pleasant Grove; Charles Carson of American Fork, Dan Carson, Mary Emma Carson and Harvey Carson. Also surviving are five grandchildren, one brother, Warren War-ren Carson, Fairfield, four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Teagan, Fairfield, Mrs. May Hancock, Los Angeles, Mrs. Lorena Nelson, Santaquin and Mrs. Emma Allen, Filer, Idaho. |
